Adventure Crew connects city teens in Greater Cincinnati with nature and each other through outdoor adventures. Founded in 2013, the nonprofit now serves all Cincinnati Public Schools high schools, seventh and eighth graders in select CPS elementary schools, and six schools in Northern Kentucky – a total of 27 schools and nearly 1,000 students per year. Through challenging monthly adventures, city teens develop the courageous spirit to step out of their comfort zone and discover new worlds – outside in nature and inside themselves. View ProfileChristen Collins is a Cincinnati, Ohio based artist that is on the pursuit of social practice through self-expression and art making. She is a student of life with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Art Academy of Cincinnati and was formerly an Instructor in their Community Education Department where she was always collaborating on new and engaging projects, that could be shared and explored in a variety of different ways. She is currently a grad student at Savannah College of Art and Design, studying Creative Business Leadership in hopes to open her own studio in the future. With the intention to bring more creativity to the people, she writes an art blog for Everything Cincy and loves to cultivate artist experiences for others. Her main focus is stepping more into her role as an artist, in an effort to help influence positive change and growth. While doing all of this she creates a variety of art with different mediums that include, prints, greeting cards, wellness products, folk art, craft work, installations, jewelry making, and ceramics!
