Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati, was founded in 1938, and serves more than 30 hospitals in 18 counties in Southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana. Lindner Center of HOPE is distinguished as a center of excellence for treating a vast array of mental disorders. The depth and breadth of services available at one location is unrivaled in the Midwest and is among the best in the country. Patients benefit from receiving highly individualized services from an onsite multidisciplinary team, which is the largest and most diverse group of clinicians in the Midwest, and who work collaboratively to understand and treat each patient. Lindner Center of HOPE provides excellent, patient-centered, scientifically advanced care for individuals suffering with mental illness. A state-of-the-science mental-health center and charter member of the National Network of Depression Centers, the center provides psychiatric hospitalization and partial hospitalization for individuals 12 years and older (adolescent hospitalization is managed my Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center on the campus), outpatient services for all ages, diagnostic and short-term residential services for adults, intensive outpatient program for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders for adults, and research.
