Located at 1410 Vine Street in Cincinnati’s historic Over the Rhine district, Alcove is a kitchen and bar that is warm, inviting and casual and features MadTree beers and house-made cocktails, sustainably-sourced wines and a range of seasonal farm-to-table offerings. Alcove’s main space features a large bar, lounge seating, dining areas and two intimate private dining rooms for small groups. Connected by expansive windows that run the length of the building, the main space opens to one of the city center’s rare outdoor spaces. Under the canopy of four large trees, Alcove’s outdoor patio offers shade and space for lounging and dining. Northwood Cider Co. exists to create great cider that brings people and communities together. We have created a fun and vibrant space at our taproom in Norwood where you can join friends for a cider and a board game. Our ciders are a little different than what most people are used to - you wont find any syrupy sweet ciders or anything made from concentrate here. Most people are surprised to find that our always gluten free ciders are often more like a dry white wine or a crispy beer than many of the super sweet mass market ciders you can pick up at the gas station. With only natural ingredients, Northwood ciders come in a wide array of flavors, including, hopped, berry, spiced, and more! We are now canning and distributing, so ask your favorite bar to put us on tap so you always have us close by. We strive to be a steward and promoter of our community, and especially our staff – who create incredible cider and experiences. We believe that good things happen when everyone has a chance to have input and no one is left behind, and do our best to support small businesses wherever we can! Our taproom features snacks and guest taps from local small artisanal producers and great local breweries. Northwood Cider Co. is available for private events from 10-80 guests, including happy hours, birthday parties, workshops, rehearsal dinners, wedding showers and more! Our flexible space and furniture can be arranged to create private areas within the taproom or even take over the entire taproom. At The Growler House we have 30 rotating taps. While we specialize in local beer, we also get some of the best regional and national beer available. We offer 32oz and 64oz growlers for beer to go, or 16oz pints, 9oz "half-pints", 5oz "benchers" and beer flights to enjoy on premise. In addition to growlers, we offer packaged beer (6 packs, 4 packs, bombers) and bottled wine to-go as well. You're welcomed to bring in any food you'd like, but for your convenience, we have a kiosk for Hey Day Burgers to easily have their delicious food delivered to you while enjoying a pint from our 30 taps.
