Ohio River Paddlefest

Recognized as the nation’s largest paddling celebration with 2,000 participants traveling up to 9 miles through downtown Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky in canoes, kayaks, and other human-powered craft.

Get in on the adventure at the Outdoors for All Expo. This Friday night gathering has something for everyone! Check out exhibits from local parks, outdoor outfitters, adventure experts, and environmentally minded organizations.
Nation's largest paddling celebration. Held on the Ohio River in Cincinnati, 1st Saturday in August.
Participants in the Great Ohio River Swim range from competitive athletes to recreational swimmers and bucket-listers. The river is closed to all motorized traffic during the swim. On-water safety is provided by The Coast Guard and local law enforcement. Safety paddlers in kayaks are dispersed throughout the course for additional support.
