Cindependent Film Festival

Industry-led, volunteer-fueled; Cindependent Film Festival is Cincinnati’s home for independent filmmakers.

Founded in 2017 by Producer and Director Allyson West, Cindependent returns for its long-awaited festival post Covid.

Our team is now comprised of over 30 individuals committed to the success of a great festival. As Cincinnati's only all-genre, all-type film festival - we are dedicated to full audiences and life-changing experiences.

The majority of films screen in the 556-seat Memorial Hall theater. Below in twin ballrooms are two full days of live screenplay reads from accepted screenwriters and classes by industry visionaries to ensure you leave our festival with more resources than you came in with.

And don't get us started on the networking! A Welcome Party, formal Friday night, two after-parties and a Sunday awards brunch - you will WANT to make time to come and celebrate independent stories with us.
