Swiss-Italian pianist Francesco Pietmontesi takes the stage with the CSO as both chamber musician and concerto virtuoso, performing one of Beethoven’s most beautiful piano concertos of all time. Sweet and intimate, Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4 broke all convention in its day by opening with the delicate chords of solo piano.
