Imagination Alley

Imagination Alley is a pocket park located in the heart of Vine Street in Over-The-Rhine. Situated in the 1300 block of Vine, the space has been underutilized in recent years. Recognizing the potential for the site, the City of Cincinnati sought proposals from organizations who would want to manage the space. 3CDC’s proposal, which included improvements to the physical space, followed by ongoing management and programming of the reimagined space, was selected. Construction on the site began in May 2021. The redevelopment will create a welcoming space activated by events, showcasing local artwork and building community congregation. Imagination Alley will be home to a variety of events and community gatherings, including programs like the Street Stage Project, Final Friday, and other activations that will draw residents and visitors and help cultivate neighborhood comradery. Inner City Youth Opportunities has been serving our Cincinnati community since 1993 as a Non-Profit 501 ( C ) 3 focusing on some of our most at-risk children in grades K – 12. ICYO is working to help close the education gap for our low-income children. When resources and support is not available at home, just being in the classroom is not enough to keep students on grade level. The Cure Starts Now represents something truly different – a grassroots effort dedicated to, not just fighting one cancer, but the elimination of ALL cancers. We believe as the experts do; that in order to truly cure cancer you have to focus on: - those cancers that are immune to treatment - those cancers that also affect children - and those cancers that are the biggest bullies with the highest death rate We call this the Homerun CureTM, but the idea isn’t new. As a matter of fact, this Homerun strategy dates back to the early 1900’s when bold advances in cancer research were made, leading to the invention of surgical efforts, radiation and finally chemotherapy. But the advancements stopped, leaving many patients behind without hope of survival. Memorial Hall OTR

Memorial Hall is conveniently located in the heart of the revitalized arts district of Over-the-Rhine. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, this exquisite venue overlooks Washington Park, and is neighbor to Music Hall, the Transept, the School for Creative and Performing Arts, and the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. Memorial Hall also houses a special collection of artwork and artifacts of local civic and military history. More than 40 pieces are on display throughout the building, including the storied wreath that is said to have adorned Abraham Lincoln's casket when it passed through Columbus, Ohio. Other pieces previously on display are under the care of the Hamilton County Public Library and the Cincinnati Museum Center.
