Blue Ash Chili is not your typical Cincinnati chili parlor. Since 1969 our premium chili has been made with the same family recipe using only top-quality ingredients. It’s not too spicy and served Cincy-style: cheese coneys, 3-, 4-, 5- and even 6-ways. Our restaurants have the feel of a small-town diner and the dining room and carryout line are always packed with regulars. But we don’t just stop with premium chili! Many customers come in for our famous double-deckers and hearty breakfasts. Our menu features something for everyone: custom burgers, chicken, BBQ, and lighter options too. Blue Ash Chili has a liquor license so our customers can have a beer, wine, or cocktail to wash down their meal. We are the only Cincinnati Chili Parlor or Cincinnati restaurant to have been seen on 4 National TV Shows: Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, Ginormous Food, Food Paradise, and Man vs Food! Ivory House seamlessly blends aspects of fine dining with the comfort and approachability of a neighborhood restaurant. Familiar foods elevated by a modernist chef, a wine list that runs the gamut, and mindful service amid plenty of ambiance. At Ivory House, we are committed to sourcing fresh, quality ingredients from local producers. We proudly partner with Waterfields, Urban Stead Cheese, Lamp Post Cheese, O2 Farms, and Madisono’s. Ivory House pays homage to Westwood’s last mayor, James N. Gamble. Instrumental in moving the village forward with projects like the building of Westwood Town Hall, his accomplishments as a community leader parallel his success as an inventor and businessman. Owners Frank Eversole and Rick Pouliot have a reverence for Westwood’s rich history and a drive to contribute to its revitalization. They purchased the building at 2998 Harrison Ave. in 2019, and it didn’t take long to decide what to do with it: Bring a new dining experience to the west side. Ready to experience Ivory House? Reserve a table or place an order for curbside pickup. [read more]View Profile
Ken Anderson Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation creating "Live, Work, Engage" opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities. We are beginning in Cincinnati and hope to create integrated models and options that can be replicated across the U.S. We believe that adults with disabilities have the human and civil rights to live, work, play, socialize, recreate, love, learn, and worship in the settings and manner of their choosing, with the support of families, friends, and caregivers. In November 2017, we launched PLAY (now ENGAGE), social experiences designed by adults with disabilities for adults with disabilities that include a wide variety of small group community outings with staff and volunteer supports. Our survey of adults with disabilities reveal their most frequent request is to socialize with peers and be in the community. We are currently working to launch WORK, real, paid, integrated employment opportunities through urban agriculture, microenterprises, and community partners. We will augment these with vocational workshops to explore and develop work interests, talents, and abilities. Our plan is to build our first community, The Commons at Springfield, in Springfield Township. The Commons at Springfield will be an innovative, integrated beneficial residential community that provides permanent supportive, affordable housing for a neurodiverse blend of adults with and without developmental disabilities who have a range of support needs.
