I love spunky workout classes! Holly, along with all the other instructors, are so fun, enthusiastic, and encouraging! I feel so accomplished after finishing a class and appreciate all of the many options offered (Mat Pilates, Sculpt Yoga, Strong Nation, Arms and Abs). Plus the community is amazing, and it is always a positive environment! These classes are perfect for any ability level and age looking for a good workout! Classes are offered in person and virtual and the times are flexible to fit busy schedules!

Or maybe you’re afraid that yoga is only for certain people, and perhaps you aren’t the right size or shape or gender or race or age to do yoga? Let’s put your fears to rest. Yoga is for everyone and for every body.
Join Ashley Theissen, RYT 200, for this FREE eight-week series of classes for yoga beginners. Come each week to receive a full introduction to the physical and mental benefits of yoga practice, or drop in to a single class when you’re available. Unlike some intro classes that assume a basic knowledge of yoga, in this workshop, we will start at the beginning. If you’ve never set foot in a yoga studio before, this class is for you! If you’re an “advanced beginner,” you will still benefit by filling in gaps in your knowledge and deepening your understanding of the practice.
Each class in the series will include an introduction to a key term or concept in yoga, a physical yoga practice, and a short meditation. By the end of the eight weeks, you will know how to safely practice basic postures (asanas) and will have a working yoga vocabulary. This series will give you the confidence to take other yoga classes, and might even inspire you to begin a yoga practice at home, one of the most beneficial things you can do for your mind, body, and spirit.
Spunky Yoga and Fitness is offering this workshop for free because we want as many people as possible to experience the deep benefits of yoga, which go well beyond physical health. After a trying year, give yourself a special gift by starting your yoga practice this May!
